Sports Festival

The Sports Festival is held in middle of June. Students wear class T-shirts made by themselves in order to attend this event. They get points depending on their rank of each game, and each class competes to get as many points as they can. We have many athletic games such as jump rope, 200-meter dash, interclass relay, and so on. The climax of this festival is "kibasen" (cavalry battle, chicken fight). Boys get in groups of four and make "kiba". Each team fights to catch a cap worn by the top of the boys. Students get really excited about the game every year.

Ball Game Tournaments

The Ball Game Tournaments is held in the end of September. which is right before the Cultural Festival. Before the tournament begin, students choose which ball games they participate such as volleyball, basketball, table tennis, and so on. Students complete on how many points they can get. This time, students wear class T-shirts, too!

Cultural Festival

This festival is one of the most festivals students look forward to. Each class holds the exhibition (arts, modelmaking, video-making etc.) or the refreshment booth (rice balls, noodles, yakitori etc.). Some performances perfomed by brass band, music, and dance club students are held. We also invite celebrity (comedian, singer etc.) to hold an oration. Parents, students from other schools, and neighbors can join our cultural festival too.

School Trip

Our 2nd year students go on a school trip to Okinawa in the middle of October. Students are divided into two groups and look around Okinawa. We visit many sightseeing spots: Churaumi Aquarium, Ie Island, Himeyuri Peace Museum, Peace Memorial Museum, Kokusai Street, Shurijyo Castle Park and so on. Students can learn the history, culture and nature of Okinawa.
